A question, and a button that answers it

Make an online proposal page and let them answer it right there.

Two buttons. One answer. And it stays where you asked.

Build up to the question on a page of its own, then let them press yes - or pick the kind of evening they want and the time that suits them. Their answer comes straight back to you.

The question deserves more room than a chat bubble.

A question typed into a message sits under whatever was sent before it. On a page of its own it arrives after everything that led to it - the note, the letter, the photos, the song - and the answer is a button, not a reply they have to compose.

Two shapes live here. Will you be mine ends on your question and two buttons you name yourself. Ask them on a date offers a few kinds of evening, from coffee to dinner to a long drive to live music, and lets them pick one and a rough time, so there is no back and forth.

Write the whole run-up, not just the question

The note, the letter and the photos come first. The question is the last thing on the page, which is the only order in which it reads like a moment rather than a form field.

Decide what the page says either way

You write the line for yes and the line for no. Nobody should get a canned response to the most honest thing they have said this year.

Let them choose the plan, not just accept one

The date invitation offers up to eight kinds of evening and four time slots. They pick; you find out; nobody negotiates over text for four days.

2 to choose from

Pick the one that matches the moment.

Two shapes: the question with an answer button, and the invitation out that lets them choose the evening.

Make a digital proposal page, or ask them out properly

The proposal page carries your question, a line under it, and two buttons - you write what the page says if they say yes and what it says if they do not, so neither answer lands on something generic. The date invitation offers a few kinds of evening - coffee, dinner, a long drive, live music, staying in - and lets them pick one and a time slot, which removes the back-and-forth that kills half of these plans before they start.

You will know the second they answer.

The page records the answer and emails it to you. There is no waiting for a reply that never comes, no wondering whether they opened it, and no screenshot of a conversation you would rather not keep.

When to ask on a page instead of in a message

  • Asking someone to be your girlfriend, boyfriend or partner.
  • A proposal you want to send before, or instead of, the ring.
  • Asking someone out for the first time without making it heavy.
  • Long distance, where the two of you cannot be in the same room.

How to ask something on a page without making it heavy

The button at the bottom is the easy part. What decides how the answer goes is everything above it, and there is a version of that build-up that reads as sincere and a version that reads as pressure. These three points are the difference.

Earn the question before you ask it

The page should spend most of its length on why you are asking, not on the ask itself. Give the AI one true detail about how you met or what changed, and let the question arrive at the end, on its own, with nothing after it.

Write both answers, not only the one you want

The proposal page asks what it should say if they say yes and what it should say if they say no. Filling in the second one is not pessimism. It is the difference between a page that is kind either way and a page that punishes an honest answer.

Keep the date invite low stakes

Offer three or four kinds of evening rather than all ten, and leave the time to them. Choosing between coffee and a long drive is easy. Being asked to agree to a plan you already made is not.

Questions people ask before they make one.

How do they answer a proposal page?

With a button on the page itself. You choose the wording of both buttons, and you write what the page says after each answer. Their answer is recorded and emailed to you.

Will I know what they answered?

Yes. The answer is emailed to you as soon as they tap it, and it stays on the page afterwards, so the two of you can go back to it.

Can I use it to ask someone on a date instead?

Yes. The date invitation offers a set of evenings - coffee, dinner, brunch, a long drive, a film, a walk, staying in, live music, a road trip or surprise me - and a time slot, and they pick one.

Can I use it to propose marriage?

Yes. Many people send it just before or just after the moment itself, so the words exist somewhere permanent rather than only being said once.

What if they say no?

The page says the line you wrote for that answer, and nothing else changes. It stays theirs to keep. Nothing is deleted and nothing is announced.

Do they need an account to answer?

No. They open the link, read the page and press a button. There is nothing to install and nothing to sign up for.

Can anyone else answer the question?

The page is unlisted, so only people with the link can open it, and the answer can only be recorded from the page itself.

Clear about the product behind the moment.

How the AI is used

The AI drafts from the names, tone and details you provide. You review and edit every word before the page is created.

What unlisted means

Created pages are excluded from Krapton’s sitemap and marked noindex. They are not password-protected by default, so anyone with the link can open them.
